Harvey Norman was the top brand on Australian radio in 2021, airing 199,694 spots across 58 stations. Wollongong’s Wave FM played the most Harvey Norman ads, accounting for 15,166 instances (7.6%).

Domayne took out second place airing 93,219 spots on 43 stations, followed by National Tiles with 87,221 spots.

Overall, 8,996,190 ads aired across Australian radio this year. The most common categories were ‘Automotive Parts & Services’ and ‘Television, Pay TV & SVOD’ with six entries each.

Perth’s Nova 93.7 aired the highest number of unique brands during the year with 1,226. The station’s most played brand was Coles with 1,818 instances.

Turning our attention to the markets, Sydney aired the most ads during the year with 1,827,883, followed by Melbourne with 1,604,723 and Brisbane with 1,136,561.

Peter’s Of Kensington (No. 74) was the only brand on the list to air every ad on one station. Sydney’s 2SM ran all 12,269 spots for the brand in 2021.
